Like moths, you turn your wings toward the light of profit... unaware that it is that very glow that will burn you.
The Game#
In three phases of increasing intensity, the group discovers new clues, secrets come to light, and trust is put to the test. The game uses light mechanics to build emotional tension, create ambiguity, and guide toward a final, irreversible decision.
Inspired by psychological thrillers, Moths is a slow-burn larp, focused on characters and the failure to recognize the end... even when it's right in front of our eyes.
Premise#
During an environmentalist demonstration against a fossil fuel multinational, Titan, something exploded. The protest, initially peaceful, descended into chaos shortly after the official announcement of the agreement with local authorities, authorizing gas and oil extraction within a previously protected nature reserve. One dead, 4 injured.
A suspect is detained and brought to the station: a protester without documents, who was seen at the scene a few days before the event, who goes by Noa. With them is Ari, a member of the environmental movement.
Waiting for them are agents Miller and Stone, ready to uncover the truth and obtain a confession if possible.
