Larp Marathon

What is the Larp Marathon#

The Larp Marathon is The Hours Larp's annual event held in November, organized in collaboration with Gada Play. A full day dedicated to chamber larp: authors present their scenarios and run them for registered players, in a true marathon of stories.

The idea is simple and powerful: fill a day with many short chamber larps one after another, letting participants live through multiple different experiences while giving authors a new audience for their work. An event that celebrates the creativity of the Italian chamber larp community.

The Zine da Camera#

For each Marathon edition, we create the event booklets: the Zine da Camera. These are small handcrafted publications collecting the scenarios selected for the day. Each zine is a collectible piece — a way to bring home the stories experienced during the Marathon and to give proper form and dignity to the authors' work.

Are you a chamber larp author?#

Have you written a chamber larp scenario and would like it to be played? The Larp Marathon is your chance! Every year we collect scenario proposals to include in the day's programme. If your scenario is selected, we will give you the space and the players to bring it to life.

Send us a message on social media with the scenario title, a short synopsis and the number of players. If selected, your scenario will be featured in the edition's Zine da Camera and played during the Marathon!

Registration#

Registration for the Larp Marathon opens every year a few weeks before the event. Follow our social pages or subscribe to the newsletter to be the first to know when registration opens.
